WMATA has scheduled a public meeting to discuss proposed cuts to the service provided by them. Attached is an informational sheet that outlines those proposed cuts. The meeting scheduled in Prince George’s County is going to be held on Monday evening, May 16th, at Treetops, which is near the New Carrollton Metro Station. Although this is short notice, we encourage you to attend. Many of you have in the past, and had it not been for your attendance at these previous meetings, Prince George’s County residents might have experienced severe cuts in Metro bus and rail services.
There will be a shuttle to and from the New Carrollton Metro to the meeting site that will begin running from the Station at 5:00 PM until the meeting ends. More information in PDF here.
