Regional Issues Summit will be held March 3 at Bowie State University
from 8:30am -3:30pm. The theme is Breaking Bread over Race, Religion
and Politics. Keynote speakers are Dr. John Powell, Executive
Director of the Kirwin Institute on Race and Ethnicity at Ohio State
and David Rusk, a noted metropolitan issues specialist.

* We are at a crossroads in the south-east metro DC region, in our
state and in our nation
* We are deeply divided by race, class and place. Economic and
racial segregation are forces at work in every aspect of our lives.
