Prison population in PG County & how you can help

According to the Institution for Interactive Instruction, "Children of prisoners are six times more likely to go to jail; therefore, there are 14,000 Maryland youth who will probably go to jail." They are in need of mentors, so if you can mentor a youth, please contact them in Laurel. If you're on Facebook, join Healthy Mentoring Matters.

Also, prisoners could use some good books to read that might help them when they get out. A Maryland company is trying to provide that specific service at Books To Inmates.
