Recruiting young women 16-18 years old, who share a concern about preventing HIV and STD infections

The US Department of Health and Human Services-Office on Women's Health is recruiting young women 16-18 years old, who share a concern about preventing HIV and STD infections, are leaders, and have a network of friends, to attend the Pass It Forward Teen Summit.

One in four young women between the ages of 14 and 19 or 3.2 million is infected with at least one STD.
Each year in the U.S., African Americans account for at least 25,000 new cases of HIV infection.

The Prince George's County Homeless Resource Day

The Prince George's County Homeless Resource Day Planning Committee needs your help. We need over 300 volunteers to make the October 3, 2009 day a huge success and we know you can help!

Prince George's County Homeless Resource Day is being held at the Prince George's Community College from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2009 and is sponsored by County Executive Jack Johnson and First Lady Leslie Johnson. This day is a one-day, one-stop service opportunity for the Homeless of our county.

The Volunteer Registration Form. Pages 1 and 3 must be returned to address indicate. If you need these documents, please call 301-909-6320 and we will fax or email the forms to you.

Organize your faith-entity can send a team of volunteers to help on that day! Volunteer your time for just 1⁄2 of a day and help those in need!
