Living Cheap & Happy! What about you?

I think a lot of us could use this information now what with the economy what it is. I read this in the Post today: For Writer, Happiness Isn't Free, but It's Cheap.

On the one hand, I still shop in thrifts shops - there are two in Camp Springs, though there's one I like better just south of Brandywine on Rt. 5/301 in Waldorf and there's a good one in Silver Spring, too. It would be nice to hear how you save money in Prince George's Co.

Also, Freecycle and Craigslist are great resources now as well.

On the other hand, I'm the caretaker of a house that was built to show they've come up to high middle class in the early 20th century, so the idea of buying too much house is not a new one, though it's a serious one here. I think I could live happy without it if I had to. My church friends give me a feeling of support and belonging and the social action work we do gives me a feeling of making a difference and it gives me the opportunity to sing, so that's one major way I keep happy here in Prince George's Co. What about you?
