I was asked to pass this on. The survey is not real short and some of the questions don't give enough or appropriate choices or definitions, but I think it's still worth doing:
We know everyone has concerns and issues with highway safety in Prince George's County. Now is your time to give the right people your feedback so the problems can be addressed.
With support from the Maryland Department of Transportation's State Highway Administration and the Maryland Highway Safety Office, the Department of Public and Community Health of The University of Maryland has developed the "Monitoring the Future of Maryland: A Survey of Highway Safety Issues." The purpose of this survey is to collect public opinions on county residents‚ opinions of local enforcement efforts directed to impaired and aggressive drivers, knowledge of various traffic safety laws, and commuting distances.
It takes approximately 10 minutes to complete the survey and it is confidential. Your participation in the survey will be valuable in providing the state and local highway safety directors with information on how to better direct limited highway safety funding to the state and local governments.
Please forward to as many people as possible. The survey will be conducted from July 6 to August 15, 2007

* Dana and I are asking all of you to forward this to your staff, employees, officers, agencies, family members, County Government, etc. Thank you all in advance.
